O’Hara) Butler of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, May 24 at Newton Wellesley Center for Alzheimer’s Care. She was 81 years old.Born on July 10, 1936 in Boston, Maureen was the loving daughter of the late Edward T. O’Hara and Mary V. (Calo) O’Hara. A warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.Maureen was the beloved wife of William E. Butler with whom she shared 63 years of marriage, the devoted mother of Kathleen Berner, and husband Anthony, William E. Butler III and his wife, Julie Hickey, Sharon A. Beninato and her husband, Joseph, Paula M. Angelosanto and her husband, Timothy, David P. Butler and his wife, Nancy and Lynda A. Donnelly and her husband, Mark. She was the cherished grandmother of Matthew, Kristopher, Emily, Samuel, William, Jonathan, Tess, Julia, Mary, Jake, Olivia, Grace and Lily; dear sister of Edward O’Hara, Mark O’Hara and his wife, Marcelle, the late Brian O’Hara and his surviving wife, Marlene, the late Marcella Dion and the late Kevin O’Hara. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.Her Funeral will be held from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham, today, Wednesday, May 30 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Maureen’s Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.Please consider making donations in Maureen’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd. St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere for Steven A. Pires who passed unexpectedly on Saturday, June 16 at his Revere residence. He was 61 years old.Visiting hours are respectfully omitted and interment will be held privately.Born, raised and educated in Revere, Steven was a life-long resident and a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1974. Most of his working career was as a construction worker specializing in tile setting and design. He was a member of the Carpenters’ Union, Local 67.A quiet man by nature, he enjoyed the company of his immediate close family as well as the company of several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.He was the beloved son of the late Joseph C. Pires, Jr. and the late Dolores S. (DeSouza) Pires, who passed on December 29, 2017; devoted and adored brother to Debra A. Pires and Joseph C.
